A while back, I worked with a lady that tried making chocolate avocado pudding and she loved it. I didn't put much thought into it because I am not the biggest fan of avocado but, a few months ago I started looking for recipes, and yes, there are about a million different avocado pudding recipes!
What I found though is there wasn't one that I really liked or one that would it in my little magic bullet so I made my own with what I had already.
The recipe is ment for a magic bullet sized blender but can be doubled for a regular blender.
1/4 cup frozen avocado chunks
1/2 scoop of protein powder
1 tbsp of cocoa
1/2 tsp of almond extract
1/2 cup of cold water or milk of choice
Honey, maple syrup, or stevia to taste
A few side notes: Additional liquid may need to be added based on the protein powder you choose; I used Vega sport protein for the recipe. I also found that I like almond extract for the recipe better than vanilla but you can substitute vanilla in as well. Honey and maple syrup can also be used to add a little flavor but I rarely need any sweetener, it is dependent on the protein you choose.
Combine the ingredients in a blender and enjoy! The pudding is best used the same day. If you'd like to add a little variety or more flavor try topping it with hemp hearts or walnuts.
