Bear Pond, West of Chain Lakes AB

West of Nanton and the Indian Graves Campground on the 532 you come to a parking lot on the North side of the road. This is the trail head to Bear Pond. Bear Pond is a short walk/hike from the parking lot, under 2 km round trip, with a couple small hills to climb. This is a fun little pond stocked with arctic grayling which you can't keep off your hook so I would consider it as more of a fishing spot than a hiking spot. For a short nature walk it offer beautiful views and was quiet when I was there during mid-late summer.

Difficulty: Very Easy
