Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park AB

This is a heavily trafficked, well marked, hike through a canyon with stunning blue water and a variety of small and large falls. The hike is just over 10 km round trip. Once you pass the first two falls, continue on up to the ink pots before heading back. The ink pots are bright vibrant small ponds which are worth the extra distance.

This is an easy and rewarding hike, although many people turn around after the falls the entire hike is still busy so I recommend going EARLY!

Difficulty: Easy
